We arrived in the boyhood home of Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) on the Mississippi River. It is the setting for the Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn stories. We saw the main street and visited a store where we bought sandwiches, candy and snacks. We stayed at the Mark Twain Cave Campground. Our site was along a creek where we sat out back during the day.
